The project was to open up the kitchen and build a new airy and light garden room, with the ability to bring the garden and house together.
The build was relatively straightforward, working closely with The Joinery Workshop and Sheringham Windows to bring the glazing elements together and the engineers to incorporate the steel beams within the roof structure to support the frameless lantern.
The potting shed and a collection of odd rooms were turned into a shower room and toilet area.
As a result an open planned aspect has been added to this traditional home, with the natural light element of the original brief met and surpassed, helped by the full width folding door uniting garden and home. The addition of the fresh new kitchen and modern shower room completed the requisites of the project.
